The majestic Rinjani mountain of Gunung Rinjani is a gigantic volcano which spreads over the island of Lombok. Climbing to the top is among the most challenging experiences anyone can have in Indonesia. At a height of 3,726 meters, Gunung Rinjani is ranked the second highest mountain in Indonesia. Climbing to the top may be difficult for visitors but the journey is still worthwhile. The mountain range is indeed widely recognized as one of the best views in the country.
